Advocacy and representation are at the heart of the Uganda Fisheries and Allied Workers' Union (UFAWU). We work tirelessly to ensure that workers across the fisheries value chain have a strong voice, fair treatment, and meaningful participation in decisions that affect their livelihoods and future.
UFAWU serves as a trusted representative of workers in fisheries, aquaculture, fish processing, transportation, and allied industries. Through social dialogue, collective bargaining, policy engagement, workplace representation, and strategic partnerships, we advocate for decent work, social justice, and sustainable economic growth.
